More About Solitaire Versus

Solitaire Versus is a free, fast-paced multiplayer solitaire game popularly known as Nerts, Pounce, Peanuts, and Racing Demon. It plays like Canfield with two to four players all competing at once and sharing their ace piles.

This application allows you to play a fast-paced and strategic card game with your friends, whether they are in the same room, across town, or even on the other side of the world. You can also choose to play with new players, without the need for any login or sign-up process. Simply download the app and start playing right away.

You can add your frequently played opponents as friends, so you can easily see when they are online and invite them to play. As you continue to play, you will develop a skill rating similar to a chess rating, which reflects your overall ability. This rating is used to match you against players of similar skill level, but you also have the option to play against players of any level, as long as they accept your invitation.

As you play, you can earn Success Points in four-player matches. These points can be used to compare yourself to the top Solitaire Versus players in the world, based on their rating, Success Points, and win percentage. This adds a competitive element to the game and allows you to track your progress and improvement over time.

The game play involves a race to clear your Task pile and move your cards to the Community area before your opponents do. You earn points for each card successfully moved to the Community area, but lose points for any cards left in your Task pile. This requires quick thinking and strategic card placement, as missing an opportunity to move a card can result in losing precious time.

Each player has their own deck, Task pile, and Staging piles in their private area, but the Ace piles are shared in a community area. This adds an element of teamwork and coordination, as you work together to build the Ace piles. The game does not involve turn-taking, as all players play simultaneously, making it fast-paced and exciting.

A round ends when the first player empties their Task pile, and a new round begins with a fresh deal of cards. To win the game, you must end a round with 60 or more points. In the case of multiple players having more than 60 points, the player with the highest score will be declared the winner. With its combination of speed, strategy, and teamwork, this game is sure to provide hours of fun and entertainment for players of all skill levels.
