Lab Meister: Measure & Manage

Connect your EasyDens density meter or SmartRef refractometer to your device via Bluetooth and get precise results in seconds. If you don't have a device yet, you can still manually log, organize, and export measurements and connect a device later on. This app is designed for multiple purposes, including honey and beekeeping, coolants and antifreeze, cutting fluids, brines and syrups, and lab and water measurements. It can verify water content in honey, calculate ethylene and propylene glycol concentration with automatic freezing-point calculation, and check concentration up to 84 °Brix. You don't have to worry about complicated calculations as the app automatically computes glycol concentration and freezing point for both ethylene and propylene glycol in various units. It also has automatic temperature compensation, so you don't need to refer to any tables. The app also allows you to choose your preferred medium and displays the appropriate units and range. You can measure in various units such as Brix, density, refractive index, water in honey, ethylene and propylene glycol, and temperature in both °C and °F. The app also allows you to organize your readings into custom logs with notes and timestamps, add per-reading and project notes, and easily search for specific readings. You can also export your data to PDF or CSV format. With a free Meister Cloud account, you can sync your logs across multiple devices, including Android and Apple devices, and access them on the web. However, your data will remain local on your device if you do not have an account. To use the app for density and concentration measurements, you will need an EasyDens device, while a SmartRef device is required for refractive index measurements. The app offers a free trial subscription, which will automatically renew to a paid subscription unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period. You can cancel your subscription at any time by turning off auto-renewal in your iTunes account settings. The cancellation will take effect the day after the current subscription period ends, and you will be downgraded to the free service. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
