More About Link2SD Plus

✚✚✚✚ Plus key for Link2SD ✚✚✚✚

This app is a license key that can be used with the Link2SD (free) app. It upgrades the free version to the Plus edition, removing ads and unlocking additional features. When you open the Link2SD (free) app, you will see "Link2SD Plus" in the title.

The Plus features that are added with this license key include the ability to link the internal data directory of apps to the SD card. However, this requires the use of a non-FAT file system (such as ext2, ext3, ext4, or f2fs) on the 2nd partition. This is because the FAT file system does not support UNIX file ownership or permissions, which can cause a security issue with the app's private files. Additionally, the license key also allows for the linking of external data and obb folders of apps and games to the SD card, as well as the linking of dex files of system apps to the SD card. The license key also includes an auto clear cache service and removes ads from the Link2SD app.

For users who had previously purchased the old version of Link2SD Plus, there is a note that explains that due to a problem with Google Play, the package name of the app has changed and it has been published as a new app. However, the old version can still be used and can be reinstalled from the "Play Store -> My apps -> ALL" section.

The support and upgrades for this license key are tied to the Google account used for the purchase. As long as the same Google account is used, the license key can be installed on any device for free. However, if there are multiple Google accounts on the device, the "original" Google account must be selected in the Play Store for the purchase to be recognized.

If a license error is encountered, there are several possible reasons listed. These include the Play Store app not being loaded, an unstable internet connection or blocked Play Store services, the license not being complete or being refunded/canceled, an invalid Google account on the device, or too many requests for license checks. To resolve this issue, the suggested steps are to uninstall both Link2SD and Link2SD Plus, ensure a stable internet connection, and then reinstall both apps from the Play Store. If this does not work, clearing the data of the Play Store and Play services and rebooting may help.

If an "insufficient storage available" error is encountered when trying to install Link2SD Plus, the suggested steps are to clear all app cache within Link2SD, set the install location to automatic in Link2SD settings, and clear the data of the Play Store and Play services before rebooting.
