The backstory of AlchiMerge takes place in the kingdoms of Catania and Lupinia, which used to be secluded from each other. However, a Great Tremor caused a Rift Storm in the middle of the ocean, introducing a new archipelago to the world - the Vortex Isles. These islands are filled with magical flora, mystical ruins, and ever-lasting storm clouds. As the Catanians and Lupinians sail to the Vortex Isles, they encounter humans for the first time, who were also brought to the world of Anima by the Rift Storm. In AlchiMerge, these three kingdoms come together to explore the mysterious Vortex Isles, but will they all get along?
