Baggage Screening Challenge

This application is designed to assist airport security personnel in screening baggage for prohibited and dangerous items. As bags move down the belt into the X-ray machine, the user must carefully examine the image on their screen and press the corresponding button (Green, Yellow, or Red) to determine if the bag is clear or requires a secondary inspection. This process is repeated for each bag that passes through the X-ray machine.

For a closer look, the app offers an optional zoom mode that allows the user to view a larger X-ray image of the bag. Additionally, there is a ? icon that provides silhouettes of common prohibited and dangerous items for reference. This can help the user quickly identify potential threats and make a more accurate determination.

The app offers seven progressively harder day shifts, providing a challenging and realistic training experience for security personnel. This allows users to improve their skills and become more efficient in identifying potential threats.

For those who want to share their accomplishments, the app offers the option to post them on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, email, or instant messaging. This can serve as a way to showcase their skills and progress to others.

The app is a universal one, meaning it is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices.
