If you are a UK resident over the age of 16 with a UK-registered mobile number and a Barclays current account or Barclaycard, you can easily register for the Barclays app. Simply enter the 16 digit number from your card and follow the onscreen instructions. Some customers may need to verify their identity using PINsentry or at a Barclays cash machine.

If you have an activation code, you can register even faster by following the onscreen steps (no PINsentry required).

Once you are registered, you can log in with just a 5-digit passcode. For even faster access, you can set up Android Fingerprint to log in with just a touch in the future.

Please note that this app is not compatible with rooted devices.

The Barclays app offers a range of benefits to make managing your finances easier and more secure. You can quickly and securely log in using Android Fingerprint, manage both personal and business accounts, view your Barclays mortgage account, and access your personal Barclaycard accounts. You can also view recent transactions, check your balances, transfer funds between accounts, make payments to previous recipients or those on your payee list, and securely store important documents using Barclays Cloud It. Additionally, you can easily find your nearest branch or cash machine, and call the customer services team directly from the app for assistance.

For added convenience, you can use Mobile PINsentry to log into Online Banking without having to enter a password. Please note that it may take up to 4 days for Mobile PINsentry to be activated in the app as additional security checks are required. You can also manage both personal and business accounts with just one secure login, and view your current accounts with other banks within the app.

It is important to note that terms and conditions apply and you must be 16 or over to use the Barclays app. If you have a Barclays Business current account as a sole-signatory, you can use the app. However, Barclaycard business or corporate credit cards cannot be registered on the app.

The Barclays app is provided by either Barclays Bank UK PLC or Barclays Bank PLC, depending on the entity you have contracted with for banking services. Please refer to your bank documents, such as terms and conditions and statements, to confirm the legal entity that provides banking services to you. The app is protected by copyright and the Barclays trademark is used under license.
