Capital Lux 2

In the game Capital Lux 2, players start each round by drafting a hand of six character cards. On their turn, they must choose to play a card either in front of them, representing their hometown, or in the middle of the table, representing the capital. Playing a card in the capital allows players to benefit from its special ability.

At the end of each round, players must ensure that the total value of their hometown does not exceed the total value of the capital for each profession. If they do, they will lose all cards of that profession from their hometown. In the final round, the remaining characters in a player's hometown will earn them points.

This creates a dilemma for players as they must decide whether to add a card to their hometown for potential points or to the capital for its special ability and potential points for all players. With only five or six cards dealt at the beginning of each round, every card play is crucial.

Capital Lux 2 introduces a new element to the game with a range of exchangeable capital powers that can be mixed and matched. This allows for a total of 256 unique power combinations, providing players with new tactical challenges. One of these combinations is the original Capital Lux, while the other 255 offer players the opportunity to be creative and strategic.
