The Galaxy Wearable application is a mobile application that allows you to set up and manage various features on your wearable devices. These features include mobile device connection and disconnection, software updates, clock settings, application downloads and settings, and the ability to find your watch if it gets lost.
To use the Galaxy Wearable application, you must first install it on your mobile device. Once installed, you can pair your wearable devices with your mobile device via Bluetooth to access all of its features.
It is important to note that the features provided by the Galaxy Wearable application can only be used when your wearable device is connected to your mobile device. Without a stable connection between the two devices, these features may not work properly.
It is also worth mentioning that the Galaxy Wearable application does not support the Gear VR or Gear 360, and cannot be used with tablets. The devices supported by the application may also vary depending on your region, operator, and device model.
The Galaxy Wearable application is compatible with the Galaxy Watch, Gear S3, Gear S2, Gear Sport, Gear Fit2, Gear Fit2 Pro, and Galaxy Buds.
Before using the Galaxy Wearable application, make sure to allow the necessary permissions in your Android settings. This will ensure that you can use all of the functions of the application on Android 6.0 or higher. To do this, go to Settings > Apps > Galaxy Wearable > Permissions.
The application requires certain permissions to function properly. Some of these permissions are required, while others are optional. The required permissions include location access for Bluetooth device searching, storage access for file transmission, telephone access for app updates and plug-in installations, contacts access for Samsung account integration, and calendar and call log access for syncing events and call history on your watch. SMS access is also required for syncing and displaying messages on your watch.
