Google Arts & Culture is an application that allows users to access the treasures, stories, and knowledge of over 2,000 cultural institutions from 80 countries. It serves as a doorway to explore the art, history, people, and wonders of our world. With this app, users can discover and learn about various cultural heritage from suffragettes who fought for women's rights to NASA's archive of stunning images. One of the highlights of this app is the Art Transfer feature, which allows users to take a photo and transform it with classic artworks. Another exciting feature is Art Selfie, where users can discover portraits that resemble them. The Color Palette feature enables users to find art by using the colors of their photos. The Art Projector feature allows users to see how artworks look in real size, while the Pocket Gallery feature lets them wander through immersive galleries and get up close to art. The Translate feature enables users to read about exhibits from around the world in their language. To use these features, the app requires certain permissions from the user. The Location permission is used to recommend cultural sites and events based on the user's current location. The Camera permission is used to recognize artworks and provide related information about them. The Contacts permission is used to allow sign-in with a Google Account, which allows users to store their favorites and preferences. Lastly, the Storage permission is used to allow artworks to be recognized and related information to be accessed while offline.
