Grand Mountain Adventure

This is a demo version of a skiing and snowboarding game that allows players to explore a mountain for free. The full version of the game can be purchased to unlock all 7 mountains and access additional features such as twin-tip skis and boards. The game boasts 7 huge open-world mountains, over 100 different challenges, and 10+ types of challenges including Super G, Slopestyle, Freeride, and Big Air. Players can also compete with others through cross-device multiplayer over Wifi, online leaderboards, and game controller/joypad support. The game features vivid ski resorts with busy slopes, avalanches, wildlife, and sunsets, providing players with a realistic and immersive experience.

In addition to the base game, players can purchase the Winter 2021 Expansion which includes three new mountains: Pinecone Peaks in the USA, Ben Ailig in Scotland, and Mount Fairview in Canada. Each mountain offers unique terrain and challenges, such as long pistes, backcountry areas, snow parks, and Super G tracks.

The game also offers multiplayer options, allowing players to gather their friends and explore the mountains together. Up to 16 players can play together at once, competing in races or trying out the new battle mode where they can throw snowballs and plant rails to send their friends off the course.

The gameplay starts at the bottom of Hirschalm, a sleepy ski resort in the Alps. Players can choose to ski or snowboard and learn the basics such as turning and jumping. As they progress up the mountain, they will encounter a variety of challenges including slalom, slopestyle, ski cross, and big air. To unlock new areas of the mountain, players must earn Ski Passes by completing challenges.

Aside from the groomed runs, players can also venture into the backcountry areas where they may discover hidden challenges and secret Ski Passes. However, they must be cautious of hazards such as bears, wolves, avalanches, and falling trees. With over 20 hours of gameplay, players can enjoy absolute freedom to ski wherever they want and ride any lift without loading screens or interruptions. The game also features an advanced trick system with flips, spins, corks, rails, combos, and more, providing endless possibilities for players to showcase their skills. For a more relaxed experience, players can also try out the Zen mode.
