Idle Settlement

Idle Settlement is a town-building and management game where players can construct and upgrade various buildings such as housing, storage, refineries, barracks, archery ranges, and stables. By upgrading the Town Center, players can unlock higher tiers of buildings.

Players must also manage resources in order to grow their town. They can gather raw materials such as food, wood, stone, gold, herbs, hide, coal, sand, and saltpetre from map nodes. These materials can then be refined into useful items like planks, provisions, tools, weapons, and armor. By increasing storage and conducting research, players can also increase their resource caps.

Research is a key aspect of the game, allowing players to unlock new buildings, gather rates, production bonuses, combat bonuses, and other effects through a research tree. By prestiging, players can gain extra research slots and speed up future runs.

In addition to building and managing their town, players can also recruit and train military units such as spearmen, swordsmen, archers, horsemen, and knights. These units can then be sent on raids to defeat goblin, bandit, orc, mercenary, and dragon settlements. Players can also scout their enemies to see troop estimates before attacking and can watch battles play out or review battle reports.

Prestiging is a way for players to reset their progress and earn permanent bonuses while unlocking more content. Offline progress is also available, with the game simulating up to 8 hours of production when players are away. Optional in-app purchases are offered, including credit packs, a subscription with production and offline benefits, and one-time items like a starter pack. However, all purchases are optional and the full game can be played without spending any money.

Idle Settlement runs on a 1-second game tick, meaning that players' villages will continue to produce and their armies will continue to raid even when they are away. Progress can also be saved and exported for backup or transfer, and the game can be played on both mobile devices and in a browser. With its combination of town-building, resource management, research, military strategy, and optional in-app purchases, Idle Settlement offers a unique and engaging gaming experience for players.
