KBS+

KBS my K has been reborn as KBS+ after being loved for a long time. This application offers 40 KBS real-time channels and 50,000 replays, allowing users to watch anytime and anywhere by simply launching KBS+.

There are three modes available for users to choose from. The first is the 'General Mode', which allows users to utilize all of KBS+'s features. The second is the 'Kids Mode', which combines education and entertainment for children and provides a safe viewing experience for parents. The third is the 'Easy Mode', which allows users to easily and conveniently watch content with just one button.

KBS+ is a media service that values accessibility and is available for everyone. It applies alternative text for images to improve accessibility and provides subtitles for real-time (KBS1, KBS2) and major program replays.

In addition, KBS+ also serves as a public media service for national disaster safety. In the event of a disaster, KBS will quickly inform users through news alerts that are connected to their programming system.

KBS+ also offers three convenient features to enhance the viewing experience. The first is the 'Time Machine', which allows users to quickly go back and rewatch a scene they may have missed. The second is the support for 'Chromecast', which allows users to enjoy high-quality content from KBS on their TV. When using the app, there are some access permissions that are required and some that are optional. The required access permission is for storage, which is used to improve the app's performance by storing and utilizing reusable information. The optional access permissions are for phone and camera, which are only necessary if the user wants to use those features. However, even if these permissions are not granted, the user can still use the app without those features.

Lastly, it is important to note that due to broadcasting rights, only some real-time channels can be viewed from overseas. The minimum requirement for using the app is AndroidOS 6.0, but it is recommended to have AndroidOS 10.0 or higher for the best experience.
