But for those who are already lost, there is a secret underground highway that winds through underground caves. Along this highway, you will encounter a variety of strange and fascinating characters, from an aging driver making a final delivery to a doomed antique shop, to a young woman surrounded by ghosts as she fixes obsolete TVs, to a child and his giant eagle companion, and even robot musicians. But beware of the invisible power company that lurks everywhere, and the threadbare communities that struggle against its grip.

The game has recently been updated with new features, including gamepad support and pacing improvements for a more immersive experience during "The Entertainment" interlude. Other gameplay improvements have also been made, such as better readability and layouts for the Ephemera, improved camera framing during dialog, and easier map navigation. A bug fix has also been implemented, allowing players to seamlessly switch languages within the game. Additionally, select languages now have improved caption and text legibility support.
