Kovo is an application that helps individuals build their credit in an easy and efficient way. It offers various benefits such as growing your worth, protecting your credit, earning cash rewards, and unlocking credit boosts. Kovo does not require a credit check or any fees and provides an instant decision. It also reports to all four credit bureaus, making it a comprehensive credit building solution.
Building credit is important as it can increase your chances of getting approved for loans, such as for a car or home, and can lead to better rates and lower monthly payments. Kovo simplifies the credit building process by offering a Credit Builder program, where individuals can make timely monthly payments to improve their creditworthiness and unlock a better future.
Kovo's Credit Builder program works by starting with an Installment Credit Builder for $10 per month for 24 months. This account is reported to all four credit bureaus, including TransUnion, Equifax, Experian, and Innovis. Additionally, Kovo helps individuals track their FICO® Score, the most widely used score by top lenders, and provides personalized tips on how to improve it. It also offers personal growth tools and 24 months of credit protection, including continuous ID monitoring to keep users safe from data breaches.
In addition to building credit, Kovo also offers the opportunity to earn cash rewards. Users can refer friends and earn $30 for each referral, with unlimited earnings potential. They can also earn up to $1,225 in credit rewards, including 1% back on loans and up to $75 on credit cards, after making four on-time payments.
Once eligible users have made four on-time payments, they can unlock access to credit boosts for additional credit building and protection. This includes the Revolving Credit Builder, a single-purpose credit line with a $500 limit to use at Kovo, which is reported to all four credit bureaus. Kovo also offers Maximum Credit Protection, which includes up to $1 million in ID Fraud Insurance and 24/7 ID Theft Resolution services to protect the credit being built.
Kovo is a public benefit corporation and does not perform a hard pull on credit when applying for an account. However, approval is subject to instant background verification and income qualification. It is important to make on-time payments as late or non-payment can negatively impact credit scores. Kovo also offers ID Fraud Insurance underwritten and administered by American Bankers Insurance Company of Florida, an Assurant company. It is important to refer to the Summary of Benefits for coverage terms, conditions, and exclusions.
Credit rewards can be earned by completing offers for credit cards, personal loans, student loans, student loan refinancing, and auto loan refinancing. These offers are made by third-party lending partners in the Kovo network and have varying rates and terms. It is important to note that all loan offers require an application and approval by the lender. Kovo's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy & Notice can be found on their website.
