Mafia Game App

The objective of this app is to provide a fun and interactive way for players to participate in the popular game of Mafia. The game involves two teams, the Mafia and the Townspeople, who compete against each other to either eliminate the opposing team or identify and eliminate the members of the opposing team. The app acts as the moderator for the game, making it easy for players to keep track of roles and game phases.

The setup for the game is simple and can accommodate 4-30 players. The app allows players to enter their names and select their roles, with the option to exclude certain roles if desired. The Mafia role is mandatory and cannot be unchecked. The app also ensures that each player has a unique name and that no text boxes are left empty. The privacy of players' names is also protected, as the data is only saved on the device and not shared.

Once the roles have been selected, the app generates buttons with each player's name. The phone is then passed around, and each player taps their name to reveal their role. If any roles were seen by the wrong person, the app allows for a redo of roles. Once everyone knows their role, the game can begin.

The game is divided into two phases: the Night Phase and the Day Phase. During the Night Phase, the app prompts players to sleep, and the Mafia is given the opportunity to select a victim. The Doctor, Officer, and Cupid (if included) also have specific actions they can take during this phase. The Day Phase begins with a news report, revealing any deaths, saves, investigations, or weddings that occurred during the Night Phase. Players then discuss and vote on a suspect, with the player with the most votes being eliminated and revealing their role.

The game continues with alternating Night and Day phases until either all Mafia members are eliminated (Townspeople win) or the Mafia members equal or outnumber the remaining Townspeople (Mafia wins). The app also offers special roles, such as the Doctor, Officer, Cupid, and Little Child, to add more excitement and strategy to the game.

The app also prioritizes the privacy of players' data, as names are only saved on the device and not shared. Overall, this app provides a convenient and enjoyable way for players to participate in the game of Mafia, with the option to customize and add additional roles for a unique experience.
