MagentaTV: TV & Streaming

MagentaTV is an all-in-one streaming application that offers over 180 TV channels, including 160 in high definition. It also includes MagentaTV+, which provides a vast and unique selection of series and movies. With a personalized quick start bar, you can easily access all your favorite streaming services like Netflix and Disney+ in one place. Plus, you can enjoy up to three simultaneous streams at home or on the go, even when traveling within the EU.

With MagentaTV, you have the flexibility to watch live or time-shifted TV. You can choose when your favorite programs air, and even record individual shows or entire series with 100 hours of online storage. The app also offers a comprehensive search function, making it easy to find content quickly. And with convenient features like Restart, Timeshift, and a free overview of available content, your viewing experience is made even more comfortable. The electronic program guide (EPG) allows you to see what's currently live on TV and what's coming up in the next 14 days.

MagentaTV+ is always included and offers a wide range of on-demand series and movies. You can enjoy exclusive Germany premieres like "The Hunting Wives" and "Rise of the Raven," as well as popular shows and documentaries produced by MagentaTV, such as "Herr Raue reist!" The app also features international premium series and films, including all seasons of "Yellowstone" and "Suits," as well as the hit movie "Freud - Beyond Belief." You can also access ARD Plus and ZDF select, which offer the largest archive of "Tatort" and other cult classics, as well as popular content for kids and teens.

Magenta Music is also available for free, providing exclusive live broadcasts of Telekom Street Gigs, festivals like Lollapalooza, and concerts from world-renowned artists.

For an even more enhanced viewing experience, you can add additional streaming services to your MagentaTV subscription. These include RTL+ Premium, Netflix, Disney+, Paramount+, AppleTV+, DAZN, WOW, and Magenta Sport, offering a variety of content such as series, movies, live sports, and more.

There are a few requirements and limitations to keep in mind when using MagentaTV. It can only be used in conjunction with tariff bookings starting from February 15, 2024. Some channels may have restrictions due to legal reasons and may only be available on Telekom networks within Germany. Not all shows are available for the cloud recorder, timeshift, and restart features. However, you can access MagentaTV on your smartphone, tablet, MagentaTV One, MagentaTV Stick, Apple TV, Fire TV, and web browser.
