Mars - the Arrival

This application is focused on researching and developing new technologies for the purpose of establishing a permanent presence on Mars. It also allows users to explore the Red Planet and its hostile environment. The app is not just about individual exploration, as there are other settlements controlled by real humans on Earth that are also growing and competing to be the most successful Mars colony.

The app features a scientific approach to building and simulating a Mars settlement, with a background story divided into six phases, each with its own goals. The simulation runs in real time, even when the app is not active, and offers the option to choose from seven Earth organizations, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.

There are 152 individual technologies that can be researched and developed, as well as 51 individual buildings that need to be constructed, maintained, and repaired. The app also offers 35 building enhancements, without the traditional level system. Users can also send exploration teams to Mars and analyze soil samples, as well as produce and dispatch 23 different types of resources and modules.

The settlement activities are carried out by assigning five different types of settlers, including children and elders, to various tasks. The app also offers a 3D view of the settlement in an authentic Mars topography, with the ability to pan and zoom in high resolution. It can be used without an internet connection and has the option for online features such as a ranking list and viewing other settlements on the Mars surface.

The app also offers a tutorial to explain all its functionalities and unlocks advanced features gradually. It contains some ads, but they only appear after 15 minutes of gameplay and are not intrusive. In-app purchases are also available, but the app is not designed to be a "pay to win" game. It promotes a peaceful approach, with no fighting, killing, or war involved.
