You and your group of survivors must navigate through the aftermath of an apocalypse, facing challenges such as scavenging for supplies and dealing with dangerous mutants that roam the land. In order to succeed, you must also build and upgrade your encampment to withstand the constant threat of mutants, including bosses and those armed with weapons.

Exploration is a key aspect of Mutant Meltdown, as you must search through abandoned locations for essential supplies like resources, weapons, ammunition, food, medicine, and more. Each survivor in your group has their own unique skills, and it is up to you to manage and equip them accordingly. Some may be better at scavenging, while others may excel at construction.

In addition to managing your survivors and scavenging for supplies, you must also deal with the effects of radiation in this post-apocalyptic world. By using protective wear, you can diminish the effects of radiation, but be careful - too much exposure can lead to strange perks for your characters. You can also repair and craft items, as well as find mod schematics to upgrade your gear.

As you navigate through the post-apocalyptic world, you may come across other survivors. Will you choose to help them or see them as competition for resources? The choice is yours. And as you progress through the game, you will encounter various events with multiple outcomes, adding an element of unpredictability to your journey.
