The Union is in chaos as there is no suitable candidate for the position of Union leader. This has resulted in a lack of productivity and an atmosphere of anarchy. However, there is hope as a new Reaper, who is also the player, is hired as a Sorter. The player's job is to send clients to Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory based on their signs. But it's not an easy task as there are tricky clients who can interfere with the Reaper's work and ignore the rules.

The clients in this game are unique individuals, some of whom may even be famous. However, any resemblance to real people is purely coincidental. Each client has their own abilities, such as Jailers who prevent prisoners from being sent anywhere, Bureaucrats who surprise the Reaper with inspections, and Musketeers who work together as a team.

After a day of work, the Reaper can visit the Reapers Union where they can accept contracts, view jobs from the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and get the latest news. They can also do favors for other Union members, which may come in handy during the upcoming election for Union leader.

The Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who were previously occupied with their own projects, now have time to focus on their side businesses. These include Death's Agency, War's Arena, Pestilence's Laboratory, and Famine's Diner. The player can also experience catastrophes, rent an apartment, and participate in various events while enjoying some laughs and possibly even encountering cats. Fishing and listening to music are also activities that the player can engage in.
