Return to Monkey Island

In this new adventure game, players will join the beloved character Guybrush Threepwood as he navigates through familiar islands now under new and dangerous leadership. It has been many years since his last battle with his nemesis, the zombie pirate LeChuck, and his true love Elaine Marley has turned her focus away from governing. Guybrush himself is feeling unfulfilled, having never discovered the Secret of Monkey Island. To make matters worse, the old guard has been replaced by hip, young pirate leaders and even the famed businessman Stan has been imprisoned for his "marketing-related crimes".

Players will have the opportunity to banter with old friends and meet new faces as they explore the islands and take to the high seas. The game features clever puzzles, bizarre situations, and witty dialogue that will challenge players as they help Guybrush on his quest for glory.

This game brings back the classic point and click gameplay of the original Monkey Island series, but with a modern twist. Players will use context-sensitive interactions, reactive dialog trees, and an easy-to-use inventory system to solve puzzles and navigate through the islands.

As players venture out into uncharted territories like Terror Island and Brrr Muda, they will encounter both allies and enemies. Even familiar places like Melee Island have changed under the new leadership, putting the squeeze on old friends and new faces.

The game was created by a legendary crew, including the series' original creator Ron Gilbert, co-writer Dave Grossman, art director Rex Crowle, and composers Peter McConnell, Michael Land, and Clint Bajakian. With their combined talents, players can expect an exciting and immersive experience in this new chapter of the Monkey Island series.
