The land of Eldraad is a fantasy world that is currently embroiled in a fierce war between two powerful deities - the Twilight Deity and the Nightfall Deity. The humans, who are descendants of the Twilight Deity, are locked in a battle against the monsters, who are born from the Nightfall Deity. The ultimate prize in this war is control over the nine temples scattered throughout the land. At the center of this conflict is King Edwahl, who possesses the power of twilight and can turn humans into vampires through a ritual. However, a new and mysterious force is rising among the monsters, threatening to tip the scales in their favor. The question remains - will the forces of nightfall or twilight emerge victorious in this epic battle?

The player takes on the role of one of the main characters, Thoma, who possesses a unique Blood Gauge that replaces the traditional HP and MP meters. This gauge allows characters to activate a powerful ability called Bloodthirst, which grants them new skills and even changes their appearance. In order to strengthen their characters, players can also equip bats that are found in dungeons. These bats provide passive effects such as protection from ailments and increased attack power.

The ultimate goal of the game is to seize victory by claiming all nine temples for your side. However, this will not be an easy task as the temples are guarded by powerful monsters that must be defeated in battle. As players progress through the game, they will also uncover the mysteries surrounding the war and the true intentions of the deities.
