You were just a child when you first started seeing Shinigami, supernatural beings responsible for guiding souls to the afterlife. As you grew up, your unique ability landed you a job at a top-secret government agency in Japan that monitors their activity. However, your job is far from exciting, consisting mostly of paperwork and meetings with no encounters with the supernatural.

That all changes when you come face-to-face with a ghost one night, a spirit born from an unretrieved soul. Soon, similar cases start pouring in from all over the country and you are assigned to a special task force with the agency's top three Shinigami to investigate. But just as things start to escalate, you receive a chilling message from the director: your own soul is scheduled to be collected in 30 days.

The game features three main characters: Setsuna, the cold and commanding leader of Task Force Mors; Riku, the rebellious and flirtatious Shinigami; and Atsushi, the charming yet unsettling Grim. As you work with them to solve the mysterious cases, you also have the opportunity to develop relationships with each character and potentially change their perspectives on humanity.

Setsuna, raised under strict discipline, follows the rules with unwavering precision and believes that the end justifies the means. This often puts him at odds with you, but can you teach him that not everything is black and white? Riku, known for his brash and cocky attitude, hides a surprising kindness beneath his tough exterior. And Atsushi, with his playful nature and twisted sense of humor, may hold a deep disdain for humanity but also has a mysterious charm that draws you in.

As you navigate through the game, you must also confront the looming deadline of your own soul being collected. Will you be able to solve the cases and potentially change the fate of your own soul, or will you fall into the hands of death itself? The choices you make and the relationships you form will determine your ultimate fate in this supernatural adventure.
