After his retirement in 2011, he created the Sheriff of Baghdad brand to share his knowledge with civilians, law enforcement, and militaries worldwide.
Throughout his career, John has specialized in Special Operations and Special Mission Units, training numerous U.S. and international forces in various areas such as reconnaissance, marksmanship, and breaching techniques. He has also served in multiple combat zones, including Bosnia, South America, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
As a Master Instructor, John is an expert in all aspects of special activities, missions, and operations. He has over 10 years of experience in private consulting and is highly knowledgeable in areas such as operational preparations, high-threat dignitary protection, and soldier system development.
