More About Star Tracker - Mobile Sky Map

Hey, get outdoors with your friends and enjoy star gazing! Let StarTracker guide you to explore the universe.

This application allows users to explore the night sky in real time by simply pointing their device towards the sky. It is a fun and interactive way to learn about stars, constellations, and deep sky objects. To ensure accurate orientation, users are advised to remove any metal cases or magnetic covers from their device. Calibration steps are also provided in a video tutorial for users to follow.

The app features offline data, making it accessible even without an internet connection. It is compatible with various screen sizes and resolutions, ranging from 3.5 inches to 12.9 inches. Users can view the Sun, Moon, planets in the Solar System, 88 constellations, and over 8000 stars that are visible to the naked eye. The app also includes stunning graphics of 12 Zodiac constellations and famous deep sky objects.

Location can be automatically set through GPS or manually set by the user. When the device is pointed towards the sky, all menus will automatically hide and the app will enter AR track mode. The app boasts smooth motion flow and quick response, thanks to its cutting edge signal processing technique. The graphics are also of high quality, utilizing the device's retina display and full screen anti-aliasing technology.

The pro version of the app, which can be unlocked for $2.99, offers additional features such as no ads, a full main menu, and access to all 88 constellations and 100+ deep sky objects with stunning graphics. Users can also search for and be guided to specific stars, constellations, planets, and deep sky objects. The app also includes a 3D compass in AR mode to indicate the position of searched objects, as well as a Time Machine menu and location menu for further exploration. A night mode switch is also available to protect the user's eyes during outdoor stargazing.
