In this game, you take on the role of a tank commander during World War II. Your mission is to lead your tank and troops to occupy the enemy's capital city. You can choose to play as an Allied, German, or Soviet tank ace, each with their own unique abilities and challenges. However, with overwhelming odds and limited supplies, you may find yourself retreating instead of advancing.

The objective of each round is to clear the enemy from a map sector and drive them off the far bank of a river, allowing your side to cross and advance. To achieve this, you will need to have a quick trigger finger, the ability to navigate west or east, and driving skills to crash into other vehicles.

A status panel will display important information such as the number of enemies remaining, rounds left, fuel, and armor strength. These can be replenished by ramming into enemy trucks, rather than shooting them. If you run out of fuel or armor, or accidentally drive your tank into the water, you will not only meet an untimely death but also be forced to retreat one sector. However, if you successfully wipe out all enemies, you will advance one sector and keep any extra supplies you have scavenged. The game will end when you capture the enemy's capital or if they overrun yours, in which case you will have to face the consequences from your superiors.

The game offers various features, including the ability to choose from three different aces and tanks - Sherman, Tiger, or T34 - each with a movable turret and cannon. There are also three difficulty settings to cater to players of different skill levels. Additionally, enemy trucks carrying rounds, fuel, and armor will appear throughout the game, providing you with the opportunity to replenish your supplies. You can also save and resume your game progress at any time.
