The Captain is Dead

In this exciting sci-fi TV show inspired game, you take on the role of the Captain in the last 10 minutes of the show. However, things have gone terribly wrong and the Captain is dead! Based on the popular board game, this turn-based survival/strategy game puts you in charge of the crew as you try to repair critical systems and defend against hostile aliens. If you fail, you'll share the same fate as the Captain. From the Chief Engineer to the Ensign and even the ship's Janitor, you must use each crew member's unique skills to survive in the vastness of space.

As the Captain, you have the ultimate responsibility of commanding the crew. Each member has a specific set of skills that you must utilize in order to increase your chances of survival. These skills include the Admiral's strategic planning and evasion tactics, the Cyborg's immunity to deep space forces, and the Crewman's ability to easily get killed (but luckily there's an infinite supply of them). The Counselor can manipulate skills for the best outcome, the Ensign is a quick learner and runner, the Chief Engineer can fix the ship in record time, and the Soldier is an expert at taking out aliens. And there are even more crew members to come!

But it's not just the crew you have to worry about. An unknown alien nemesis is out to destroy your ship and you must defend against their attacks. Luckily, you have state-of-the-art systems at your disposal. The Bridge allows you to scan for threats, repair shields, and communicate with your crew. The War Room contains emergency dossiers left by the Captain to help you out. The Armory has torpedoes to destroy alien ships and auto-turrets to repel boarders. The CPU Core can power up your crew's skills, the Cargo Hold has helpful gear, the Infirmary can heal injured crew members, the Science Lab allows you to upgrade the ship and research anomalies, and the Engineering room is where you can fix the Jump Core to escape to Hyperspace.

If you can keep your cool, fend off the aliens, protect your crew, and repair the Jump Core, you can activate the engines and escape to Hyperspace. Or is it Warp Speed? The choice is yours in this thrilling and action-packed game. So take the Captain's chair and lead your crew to victory in The Captain is Dead!
