Vehicle Trip Logbook Tracker

TRIPS is an application that allows users to create trips using GPS tracking. The app automatically calculates the distance, travel time, and start and end addresses of each trip. Users can view their driving route on a map and see real-time information on their dashboard, including current speed, elapsed time, and distance traveled. In addition to automatic tracking, users can also manually create trip entries by using a template, copying an existing trip, or entering all the data themselves. They can also add notes to their trips for further organization and personalization.

The app also offers automatic recording features, which start, pause, and resume trips based on Bluetooth device connect and disconnect events. This allows for a seamless and hands-free experience while driving.

TRIPS also includes a logbook feature that allows users to filter their trips by vehicle, trip type, trip reason, or predefined/manually defined trip periods. The logbook entries can also be grouped by day, week, or month, and can be expanded or collapsed for easy navigation. The app also automatically determines gaps between trips for more accurate and organized record-keeping.

Users can also generate reports in PDF, XLS, or CSV formats. These reports include data on the company, driver, car, and trips, and can even include reimbursement or fringe benefit amounts. Users can choose the report period by selecting predefined or manually picked ranges. Please note that to access the reports functionality, users must make an in-app subscription payment every 6 months. However, the app offers sample reports for users to preview before making a purchase.

In order to function properly, TRIPS requires certain app permissions, including location for GPS usage, full network access for automatic trip addresses, and read/modify access to the SD card for database backup. The app also requires Bluetooth access for automatic recording on connect/disconnect events.

TRIPS currently supports English and Estonian languages, with a focus on being original and SEO-oriented. This allows for a wider range of users to access and utilize the app's features.
