One of the key features of VidyoConnect is the ability to join and host multipoint video conferences directly from your Android phone or tablet. The app also allows for customization of the conference layout, with up to 4 on-screen participants for phones and up to 8 for tablets. Additionally, users can view shared meeting content during a video conference and make any participant or content share bigger with pinch-to-zoom and real-time panning.

VidyoConnect also offers automatic and adaptive encoding modes to optimize quality and efficiency, making it possible to meet reliably even in challenging network conditions. The app can withstand significant packet loss without impacting image quality and will automatically reconnect in transient network conditions.

In order to use the full capabilities of VidyoConnect, a paid subscription to VidyoCloud or an on-premises deployment of VidyoConferencing is required. By installing the app, users acknowledge that they have read and understood the description and consent to receive communications, updates, and upgrades from Vidyo. The app may require access to the device's camera and/or contacts for proper functioning.

Users should also be aware that the Operator of the Vidyo system to which the app connects may collect meeting usage data and personal information, such as screen name, email address, and IP address. This information will be subject to the terms of services, privacy policy, and/or similar provisions of the Operator.
