The registration process for YONO is simple and can be done on devices with Android 9.0 and above. It is important to note that the OS version will be updated to 9.0 and above shortly. To register, the user must install or update the app from the Play Store and allow all required permissions. They must also select the SIM of their CBS Registered Mobile Number and allow for SMS permission. An encrypted SMS with a unique code will be sent to verify the customer. If there are multiple CIFs attached to the same mobile number, the user will be prompted to enter their account number and date of birth to find a unique customer.

For existing SBI customers with online banking credentials, the app will prompt them to register using their existing user ID and password. They will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number to complete the registration process. For customers without online banking credentials, the app will guide them through the process of creating an INB credential using their account details and ATM card.
