More About Magnetic Field Meter

Magnetic Field Meter turns your smartphone into a professional EMF detector, metal detector, RF signal analyzer, stud finder, ghost hunter, and digital compass — all in one app. It uses your device\'s built-in magnetometer to deliver accurate, real-time measurements with no extra hardware.

This application uses your phone's magnetometer to detect metal in your surroundings. The magnetometer measures the magnetic field in microtesla (μT) and can detect ferrous metals such as iron, steel, nickel, and cobalt. These metals distort the Earth's natural magnetic field, which is typically between 25-65 μT. The app provides feedback through vibration, sound, and color-coded visuals to indicate the presence of metal.

Unlike other EMF apps that use a fixed threshold and may cause false alarms, this app has an adaptive AI detection engine. It continuously learns the magnetic baseline of your environment and adjusts accordingly, making it accurate indoors, outdoors, and near electronics. The sensitivity slider allows you to fine-tune the detection from strict to highly sensitive.

The app provides real-time measurements and visualizations of the magnetic field in μT, mG (milligauss), and A/m. It has a circular gauge with a 13-level color gradient, a scrolling line chart that tracks up to 1,000 data points, and a delta display that shows the change from the calibrated baseline. The app also provides statistics such as minimum, maximum, and threshold values that are continuously updated.

In addition to metal detection, the app also has a feature to monitor Wi-Fi and cellular signal strength in real-time. It displays connection details such as SSID, RSSI, frequency, and link speed for Wi-Fi, and operator, signal dBm, and network type for cellular. The app also has a stud finder feature that uses the magnetometer to locate metal studs, pipes, and rebar behind walls. It provides color-coded sensitivity feedback to show the strength of the detection in real-time.

For entertainment purposes, the app has a ghost hunter mode with a dark matrix-style user interface, 5-level activity bars, an EVP log driven by real sensor data, and DTMF audio tones that intensify with EMF readings. It also has an EMF recorder feature that logs magnetic field data with timestamps and GPS coordinates, which can be exported as a CSV for analysis. The app also has a digital compass with a 360° heading display and N/S/E/W directions.

This app is useful for various professionals such as home inspectors, DIY enthusiasts, electricians, engineers, network technicians, students, and educators. It can detect iron, steel, nickel, cobalt, magnets, and electromagnetic sources, as well as Wi-Fi and cellular signals. However, it cannot detect non-ferrous metals such as gold, silver, copper, aluminum, brass, and lead. The app also has a dark and light theme, supports over 50 languages, and has features such as screen capture, baseline calibration, and lightweight with no background drain.
