BAND for Kids

BAND for Kids is a mobile application designed to provide a safe and secure platform for kids to communicate with their friends and family. The app is easy to get started with, as kids can simply download it onto their mobile device and sign up using their parent's email address with consent. Once signed up, they can join private Bands through invitations from their parents or guardians.

One of the key features of BAND for Kids is its focus on safety. Kids are unable to join any groups that they have not been invited to, and parents have the ability to monitor which groups their children have joined. Parents can also join their children's groups to keep track of their activity on the app.

The app also provides a safer environment for kids to communicate in, as there is no risk of harassment from strangers. Additionally, there are no advertisements or in-app purchases, and kids are unable to create or invite themselves to Bands or Pages. They also cannot search for or join public Bands, ensuring that their interactions are limited to a trusted circle.

BAND for Kids offers a variety of features for its young users, with the admin of the Band having the ability to determine which features are available. Kids can publish posts on the Community Board and attach files, images, or videos to their posts. They can also chat with other members of their Bands, providing a fun and interactive way to stay connected with their friends and family.

The app is accessible on any device, including smartphones, tablets, and PCs, making it convenient for kids to use on their preferred device. BAND for Kids also prioritizes privacy and security, having acquired SOC 2 and 3 certificates for privacy protection and ISO/IEC27001 Certification for outstanding information security management systems.
