Instant Financial

The Instant Financial app is designed for verified employees who are paid by Instant. It allows users to access their earned wages and/or tips on a daily basis, free of charge. In order to receive pay through Instant, the user's employer must offer it as a pay disbursement option. The app also offers features such as in-store and online purchases, cash withdrawals from ATMs, and the ability to transfer money to another bank account. It puts the user in control of how they receive their pay.

To get started with the app, users must create an Instant account using their email address and password. They will then need to enter their personal information for verification purposes. Users can also transfer money to another bank account, receive support through email, chat, or phone, update personal information, and pay bills (in Canada only).

One of the major advantages of using the Instant Financial app is that there are no usage fees for receiving, spending, or accessing one's own money. The only fees charged are avoidable ones, such as an account inactivity fee or an off-network ATM withdrawal fee. The app also provides information on pre-authorizations and bank transfers. Some merchants may place temporary holds on the user's card for verification purposes, and bank transfers may take up to 2 business days to process. For those who need their money sooner, they can visit an ATM to withdraw cash and deposit it into their bank account on the same day.

There are some restrictions on loading funds onto the Instant card, as it can only be done through wages, tips, or reimbursements from the user's employer.
