Morse code practice oscillator

This app is designed for Android devices and allows users to practice sending International Morse code. However, certain settings on the device may affect the app's sensitivity and performance, so it is recommended to turn them off while using the app. These settings can be found under Accessibility in the device's Settings menu.

The app is a stand-alone practice oscillator and does not directly interface with a radio for keying. However, users can use the app's flashlight feature, a phototransistor, and a 2-wire connector to connect to a transmitter and use a straight key.

As users practice, the app will translate International Morse code into Latin letters, Arabic numerals, punctuation, CW prosigns, and special characters in real time. Users can also adjust settings such as words per minute (WPM), show/hide Morse code or text, and choose a sidetone frequency between 400Hz-800Hz.

For those who prefer to use a real straight key, the app can be connected to an Android device via a modified USB mouse. Instructions for this can be found in a DIY instructional PDF file provided by the app's developer. Alternatively, users can also use a third-party device such as the My-Key-Mouse USB.
