In the PLACES section, users can save, edit, and delete their favorite locations and see the distance from their current position. This feature is especially useful for travelers who want to know the distance from home while on a trip. The distance is calculated using the WGS84 ellipsoid.

This includes GPS coordinates and a link to Google Maps with the user's position marked. In case of an emergency, users can also send an SMS with their GPS location, even without a data connection. Additionally, users can copy their GPS coordinates to the clipboard and paste them into other applications, such as map apps, chats, or emails.
