More About Randomix - Decision Maker

Introduction 👋

This is an open source app that showcases various features of Android and is available for download on the Play Store. The main purpose of the app is to provide random choices in a fun and elegant way. It offers personalization options and introduces new resources like animated vector drawables and Material You support. The design follows Android guidelines but also adds a personal touch.

If you're wondering why you should use Randomix, there are three main reasons. First, it can help you make random decisions in four different ways. Second, it only takes up 3MB of storage. And third, it has a beautiful design with animations and is easy to use. For example, you can use it during a table game to throw a dice, flip a coin, or choose a starting player. Or if you and your friends can't decide on a place to eat, you can spin the roulette and let it make the decision for you. And if you're a beginner app developer, you can check out the source code on Github for inspiration and tips.

The app features a bottom navigation bar with four types of random choices: roulette, coin, dice, and magic ball. It also has a shake to launch option and automatically saves recent options used in the roulette. You can also choose between light and dark themes, with automatic dark mode support, and select from 11 accent colors. Other features include vibration and sound effects, per-app language and themed icon for Android 13, roulette presets for letters and numbers, and multiwindow support. The user interface follows the latest Material Design 3 guidelines for a simple and precise design.

The source code for Randomix is available on Github and you can star or fork it if you find it useful. The app is currently available in eight languages and if you want to help translate it to your language, you can send an email to the developer. Any feedback or reviews are greatly appreciated as the app is completely free, open source, and ad-free.

Credits go to the developer's free time and training for creating this app, as well as the help of other developers and resources like Stack Overflow. So if you're looking for a fun and useful app that showcases Android features, give Randomix a try!
