Orlando is a fallen king who is on the run from the Queen's army. He is lost and defeated, and the world seems to be working against him. Despite being seen as a failure, he is determined to survive. However, with unexpected friends and a different perspective, his cause may not be lost after all. In the magical world of Roterra, where directions are relative and gravity is not always what it seems, players must rotate, flip, and spin cubes to reveal hidden pathways and solve puzzles. With new environments, challenging puzzles, and new characters, Roterra Extreme offers hours of expert puzzling fun.

In this perception-challenging world, players must take their time and plan their moves carefully. Things are not always as they seem, and the correct path is often not the most obvious one. It may take dozens of moves to complete a path and escape the maze, but players can always flip a cube to find a new way out. The game features 35 challenging puzzles across 10 levels, providing over 5 hours of gameplay. There are no ads, timers, or in-app purchases, and no internet connection is needed to play. However, it is not recommended for iPhone 5S, iPhone SE, or iPad Air.

The story of Roterra is inspired by the 16th century poem "Orlando Furioso," which tells the tale of a daring princess who defies stereotypes and takes control of her own fate. In the game, players take on the role of Princess Angelica, who must use her magical abilities to navigate through mazes and overcome obstacles created by her power-hungry brother, Orlando. As players progress through the game, they will discover that sometimes the journey is more important than the destination, stereotypes should not be trusted, and changing one's perspective is often the only way forward.

In Roterra Extreme, players experience the story from Orlando's perspective as he runs for safety after his plan to get rid of Angelica fails. This time, the mazes are created by the world of Roterra itself, punishing Orlando for his actions. As he becomes increasingly panicked and lost, he must navigate through challenging puzzles and deal with unhelpful "helpers" and hallucinations. While Angelica's story is one of triumph and self-discovery, Orlando's only concern is escaping pursuit and finding a safe place to regroup.
