The app also allows users to learn, read, and understand ancient pagan Norse runes and their significance in Viking culture. It provides detailed information for each rune and allows users to view birth runes or create bind runes to form different runic formulas.
Users can also explore the nine realms and learn about a variety of diverse gods and goddesses, such as Týr, the god of war, and discover meaningful Old Norse and Viking names. The app also includes a pagan calendar where users can participate in and learn about Viking and pagan celebrated events and seasons.
Valhalla also offers a feature to see one's future and find their way through any situation using a compass. Users can also gain more knowledge about paganism, Celtic, Germanic, Norse, and the gods, giants, and Valkyries through the app. It also provides information about Norse beasts and other races or groups, such as Fenrir, Sleipnir, Elves, and Dwarfs.
The app also includes a translator that can convert any text into Norse runes, making it fun for sharing with pagan friends or learning how to read and write in runic. Users can also store their own private and encrypted notes, stories, thoughts, prayers, and letters in the app.
The name Valhalla+ originated from an older version of the app and is a reference to the place in Asgard belonging to the god Odin. Asgard is home to the gods, including Odin, Loki, and Thor. The app is still in development, and users can contact the developers for any issues or suggestions.
