Gear IconX (2018) Plugin

This application is a component of the Galaxy Wearable application and cannot function on its own. The Galaxy Wearable application must be installed before the Gear IconX (2018) application can operate properly. This means that users must have both applications installed on their device in order to use the Gear IconX (2018) features.

In order for the Gear IconX (2018) Plugin to fully utilize all of its features on devices running Android 6.0 or later, users must grant the necessary permissions in their Android Settings. This can be done by going to Settings > Applications > Application manager > Gear IconX (2018) Plugin > Permissions. By allowing these permissions, users can ensure that the Gear IconX (2018) Plugin can function properly and provide the best user experience.

The Gear IconX (2018) Plugin requires certain permissions to provide its services. These include permissions to access the phone for checking device update information, storage space for storing music and using the music transmission function, schedule for checking schedule contents and using the voice notification function, contact for checking contact information when receiving a call and using the voice notification function, and SMS for confirming SMS contents for voice notification. These permissions are necessary for the app to function properly and provide the intended services.

While the above permissions are required, there are also optional permissions that users can choose to grant or not. These optional permissions do not affect the default functionality of the app, but may enhance certain features. Currently, there are no optional permissions for the Gear IconX (2018) Plugin.

If a user's system software version is lower than Android 6.0, they will need to update their software in order to configure app permissions. After the software update, previously allowed permissions can be reset on the Apps menu in device settings. This ensures that the app has the necessary permissions to function properly and provide the best user experience.
