Make sure to face the sensor of your phone towards the object to get an accurate reading. In addition to detecting hidden cameras, our app also has a tool to detect infrared lights. Simply open the infrared detector and scan for any white lights that appear on the screen. These lights are not visible to the naked eye, but they indicate the presence of an infrared camera. Some common questions about the app include what to do if your phone does not have a magnetic sensor, or if the app beeps near metal or electronics. If your phone does not have a magnetic sensor, you can still use the infrared detector feature. The app is not designed to detect metals, but in some cases, certain types of metals may exhibit similar magnetic activity to that of a camera. If this happens, always check for a lens on the suspect device. Lastly, our app also has a quick scanning feature for detecting infrared cameras using a normal camera. This feature has a luminescence effect to make it easier to spot infrared lights. If you prefer to use a normal camera, that is also an option. However, please give credit to our app if you were not aware that infrared cameras could be detected using a digital camera.
