MyFRITZ!App

The MyFRITZ!App is a mobile application that allows users to remotely access and control their FRITZ!Box, a router with advanced features. In order to use the app, the FRITZ!Box must have a minimum firmware version of 6.50, but for full functionality, it is recommended to have version 7.39 or higher. Additionally, the FRITZ!Box must be connected to the internet and have a public IPv4 address for remote access.

The app has a section for frequently asked questions, which provides helpful information for common inquiries. One question addresses how to log into a different FRITZ!Box, which can be done by selecting "Log in again" in the settings. However, the user must be connected to the Wi-Fi network of the desired FRITZ!Box.

Another question addresses how to access the home network when away from home. This can be done by enabling the home network connection in the app's settings and establishing a secure VPN connection. This allows users to control devices and access data in their home network remotely.

If users are having trouble accessing their FRITZ!Box when away from home, they should make sure that the "Enable use from on the go" setting is enabled in the app's settings. Additionally, some internet service providers may not allow remote access or have restrictions due to not providing a public IPv4 address. These types of connections are known as "DS Lite", "Dual Stack Lite", and "Carrier Grade NAT (CGN)". Users can contact their provider to see if they can receive a public IPv4 address.

The app also has a limit of 400 messages that are stored for the user, with older messages being automatically deleted. And if users have any suggestions or discover errors in the app, they can provide feedback through the app's navigation bar. A log is automatically attached to help the developers analyze and fix any issues.
