This application is designed to provide users with a sense of safety and security in emergency situations. It offers a variety of features that can be accessed on both phones and the Pixel Watch. These features include Emergency SOS, Emergency Sharing, Safety Check, Car Crash Detection (only available on Pixel phones), Crisis Alerts, and Medical Info and Emergency Contacts.

One of the main features of this application is Emergency SOS, which allows users to quickly get help in an emergency by pressing the power button on their phone five times. This feature can call emergency services or any number chosen by the user, share their location and critical information with emergency contacts, and even record and share a video. This can be a lifesaving feature in dangerous situations.

Emergency Sharing is another important feature that allows users to share their real-time location and critical information with their emergency contacts. This feature also works with Google Assistant, making it easily accessible in times of need. Safety Check is a similar feature that allows users to set a check-in timer on their phone. If the user does not respond when the timer runs out, Emergency Sharing will automatically start. This feature also works with Google Assistant.

For Pixel phone users, there is an additional feature called Car Crash Detection. This feature can automatically call for help after a car crash is detected by the phone. However, it is not available in all countries, languages, and devices. Users can check the availability of this feature by visiting g.co/pixel/carcrashdetection.

The application also offers Crisis Alerts, which notify users about natural disasters and public emergencies in their area. This can help users stay informed and take necessary precautions in times of crisis. Additionally, users can choose to make their medical information and emergency contacts visible on their locked phone. In some countries, this information can also be automatically shared when contacting emergency services.

For users with a Pixel Watch, there are similar features available such as Fall Detection and Emergency SOS. The watch can detect a hard fall and call for help, while Emergency SOS can be activated by pressing the crown on the watch five times. Emergency Sharing, Safety Check, medical info, and emergency contacts are also available on the Pixel Watch, providing users with a sense of security even when they are not carrying their phone. Overall, this application offers a range of features to help users feel safe and prepared in emergency situations.
