This application is designed to help you manage and backup your phone's data before resetting it. It only uses your phone's storage and does not require any external storage. The app offers backup and restore services for call logs, messages, and contacts. Before providing these services, the app will ask for basic permissions from you.
The app requires the "All File Access Permission" for devices running on Android 11 and above. This permission allows the app to access your device's internal storage and read and write backup files. However, the app will only access its own backup files and this is solely for the purpose of providing you with the backup and restore services.
For call logs, the app will ask for permissions to read and write call logs. This is necessary for the backup and restore functionality of call logs. Similarly, for messages, the app will ask for permissions to read and write SMS and MMS. This is only for the purpose of backing up and restoring your messages.
In order to backup and restore SMS, the app will need to become the default SMS handler on your phone. This is only temporary and will be reverted back to your original settings after the backup and restore process is complete.
For contacts, the app will ask for permissions to read and write contacts. This is necessary for the backup and restore functionality of contacts. These permissions are only required for the backup and restore process on your phone and will not be recorded by the app in any form.
It is important to note that the app only uses your data for your own convenience and does not use it for any other purpose. The app's data is only accessed from your phone's internal storage. For more information, you can refer to the app's Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions. Phone Backup is solely designed to provide you with a convenient way to manage and backup your phone's data.
