This application is designed to allow users to take screenshots of their conversations without the other person being notified. It works by launching a "presentation" mode on the device, which captures the entire screen and allows the user to save the screenshot without any notifications being sent to the person they are chatting with. This ensures that the screenshots can be saved confidentially. However, it should be noted that this app does not work with protected apps such as Netflix, Chrome incognito, Tor Browser, private Telegram chat, banking apps, etc. Attempting to take a screenshot in these apps will result in a black screen or an error message.
In order to ensure privacy, all screenshots taken with this app are saved into a hidden directory. This means that other apps cannot access the screenshots directly. Only the user of the app can browse, share, or delete the screenshots.
The app works by displaying a draggable button on the screen, which allows the user to save the current picture from the screen into a file. To use the app, the user must first press the START button and grant permissions to allow capturing the content of the display. Then, they can press the screenshot button to take a screenshot. To return to the app, they can press and hold the screenshot button. To exit the "presentation" mode, the user can press the STOP button.
For advanced users, there are additional features available. On Android 7 and higher, a shortcut can be added to the Quick Settings drawer for easy access. On Android 7.1 and higher, holding the app's icon will reveal a shortcut for quick Start/Stop. The app also encourages users to be original and SEO-oriented when naming their shortcuts.
