G-NetReport Pro is a mobile application that allows users to collect and organize data from their measurement fleet of reporting phones. It is similar to G-NetTrack Pro, but with the added feature of being able to send online reports to a user's own database. This allows for easier post-processing of measurements using G-NetLook Pro. The app is available for Android devices and requires users to have location services turned on for it to function properly.
Users can choose to either record logfiles or do online reporting. Online reporting requires the purchase of credits, with 1 credit equaling 1 measurement sample. The app comes with 20 credits upon installation, and users can check their current credit balance in the INFO tab. Additional credits can be purchased through the MENU option.
The prices for credits are as follows (excluding taxes):
- 20,000 credits for $0.99
- 50,000 credits for $2.49
- 100,000 credits for $4.49
It is important to note that when the app is reinstalled, any existing credits will be lost and reset to the initial 20 credits.
To use G-NetReport Pro, users must first create their own database using the provided scripts. These scripts can be downloaded from the app's website and require a webserver with PHP and MySql support. Users can then create a new database and use the provided scripts to set up a table for measurements. The app also allows for testing of the database connection before sending actual measurements.
Once the database is set up, users can then set the app to report to their database server by changing the Report URL in the SETTINGS - ONLINE REPORTING section. The app also has the option to send measurements online in real-time or manually through the MENU option.
For post-processing of data, users can use G-NetLook Pro, which can be set to use the custom database in its settings. G-NetReport Pro also offers a variety of features such as 2G/3G/4G serving and neighbor cell information measurement, record keeping in logfiles, and the ability to change app settings remotely through the internet or SMS. It also has a 3D map feature, data and voice test sequences, and the ability to send measurements to the G-NetWorld database. A manual and privacy policy are also available for users to reference.
